I might hate math

So I will be taking the GMAT soon as part of my quest to go back to school again in the fall. This meant I had to start studying my math and grammar. I was actually pretty good at math in school. Tex told me I should be a mathematician at parent-teacher conferences. Unfortunately I cannot remember anything that I learned. Brian (weirdo) can remember the formula for a circle's radius, I sure can't. Math was much like Spanish class for me, as soon as I learned what I needed to pass the course, I promptly forgot everything. This worked out better for Math than Spanish. On the GMAT you don't get a calculator. I have a real problem with this. They first gave me a calculator in the 2nd grade and I always had one in class past 7th. Why should I be expected to divide big numbers and fractions in my head, that's not a requirement in life.

Anyway I'm sure it will all be OK.

As you can probably tell by my last two post I've been politically occupied online. I have all day to read the NYT op-eds. I hope this election goes the right way.

Big Brother ends tonight. There goes one time-waster. I really hope Dan(from the mitten!) wins.

I have now lived in our apartment and thus Albany for over a year. Hitting that mark is the closest thing Brian and I have to a real anniversary date. We will be staying in our little place for at least one more year. It suits us just fine for now.

I am slowly losing my patience here at Abacus. I can't wait to start school and leave this job behind.

I know I need to write a real post soon. Until then, I loved this-
